La Mambanegra', a group from the salsa capital of Colombia, Cali formed by ten members led by Jacobo Velez "el Callegüeso" recently captivated the unthinkable, the public of Havana (Cuba) to the sound of an incestuous marriage of fusion of Salsa, West Indian and Jamaican music with funky colors of James Brown and some colors of urban rhythm.
In a few words, to experience this band on stage is to be possessed by the tumbao caleño, and the frenzy of Juanchito that contagiously makes you vibrate in an inescapable way and dance to the rhythm of the Mambanegra. With an impeccable and elegant score of piano, bongo, drums, bass and vocalists that accompany Callegueso's voice that viscerally surges to the rhythm of the melody.
